Dina Mufti: Ethiopia awaiting clarifications from Saudi government (+VIDEO)

Awramba Times (Addis Ababa) – Ambassador Dina Mufti, Spokesperson of Ethiopia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a brief interview with the Ethiopian television that the remarks made by Saudi Arabian Deputy Minister of Defense, Khalid bin Sultan are hostile and hurtful of the relation between Arabs and Nile basin nations.

According to the spokesperson, Saudi Arabian ambassador to Ethiopia clearly stated that the remarks don’t represent the current stance of Saudi Arabian government; rather it is Khalid bin Sultan’s personal opinion.
“As Ethiopian media outlets at home and abroad have strongly reacted, top officials of the ministry have discussed on the matter” Dina Mufti added.
