What initiates me to write this article is the exaggerated and
limitless propaganda of the EPRDF with respect to the military day of
Ethiopia! which was held on 2nd of February 2013. One has to note that my problem is not (and should not be) on the
celebration of the military day. Because, I know that military force is a
"white blood cell" of a nation! Especially Ethiopian
military force is a white blood cell and security guarantee
not only to Ethiopia but also to others (Somalia, Korea, Congo etc)
in the past and today! Hence, the military is our blood cell which protects us
from disease of
internal instability from foreign aggression!
But under the guise of respecting the military day woyanie is preaching the military and affecting their "neutrality" & it is trying to make its members (because woyanie do not care whether it is unconstitutional).
We need a political party with clear and neutral military policy which can clearly show the organization & structure of the military. After all the policy should enable everybody the fate of the military members after the down fall of EPRDF!
This is important especially when popular uprising & revolution is created like in the case of Egypt! We need military force which believes and respects its neutrality in such situations!
