KUWAIT CITY, Jan 19: An Ethiopian woman in her 30s ended her life by hanging herself with a piece of cloth tied to the ceiling of her room in Sabah Al-Salem, reports Al- Watan Arabic daily. The remains were referred to Forensics by Criminal Evidences Men and the police are conducting investigation to determine the cause of the suicide.
Man dies in mishap: An Egyptian died on the spot and three other occupants of the car were seriously injured following a traffic accident on a road in Salmi, reports Al- Anba daily. According to reports the vehicle the victims were riding in overturned due to an unidentified reason. The injured have been admitted to a hospital. The remains of the dead man have been referred to Forensics.
KD 1 mln ransom: Police are looking for an unidentified youth for kidnapping a 14-year-old girl and demanding KD one million ransom to free her, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily .According to a security source, the youth befriended the victim via the chat engine and lured her to meet him. The victim allegedly got out of the house under the cover of darkness after placing two pillows on the bed to resemble a sleeping person and covered the pillows with a bed cover and went to meet her lover. The youth, without the knowledge of the victim, sent messages to her father from her cell phone asking for ransom. After the father filed a complaint with the Adan Police Station, CID personnel seized the girl from a commercial complex in Hawalli and the kidnapper sensing police presence escaped from the scene.
