“ካልተሳፈርኩ” ብሎ የታክሲ ሹፌሩን በሽጉጥ ገደለ

መገናኛ አካባቢ ወደ ጉርድ ሾላ በሚወስደው መስመር፣ አንድ መንገደኛ ትናንት ከምሽቱ 12 ሰዓት ላይ ሚኒባስ ታክሲ ውስጥ ካልተሳፈርኩ ብሎ ሾፌሩን ወንደሰን ደምሴን በሽጉጥ ገደለ፡፡ “ታክሲው ውስጥ ካልተሳፈርኩ፣ አትሳፈርም” በሚል በተነሳው ጭቅጭቅ፣ ሾፌሩን ገድሏል የተባለውን ደጀኔ ገመቹ በቁጥጥር ስር እንደዋለ የገለፀው ፖሊስ፤ የአይን ምስክሮችን ቃል በመቀበል ምርመራ እያካሄደ ነው፡፡ ታክሲ እየጠበቁ የነበሩ የአይን ምስክሮች በወቅቱ አቶ ደጀኔ እጁን በማወዛወዝ ሚኒባስ ታክሲውን እንዳስቆመ ተናግረው፣ ከሾፌሩ ጋር ጭቅጭቅ እንደተፈጠረ ገልፀዋል፡፡ አቶ ደጀኔ በታክሲው ለመሳፈር ሲጠይቅ፣ ሾፌሩ “ቤተሰቤን ነው የጫንኩት፣ ሌላ ሰው አላስገባም” በማለት ምላሽ እንደሰጠው በአካባቢው የነበሩ መንገደኞች ተናግረዋል፡፡ ታክሲ የሚጠባበቁ ብዙ ሰዎች በአካባቢው ስለነበሩ፣ ጭቅጭቁን ከመነሻው እስከ መጨረሻው የተመለከቱ እማኞች በርካታ ናቸው፡፡ የፖሊስ መረጃ እንደሚጠቁመው፤ የሾፌሩ አባት ታክሲው ውስጥ ነበሩ፡፡ “አትሳፈርም የምትለኝ ንቀት ነው” በሚል ክርክርና “የጫንኩት ቤተሰቦቼን ስለሆነ ሌላ ሰው አልጭንም” በሚል ምላሽ በተባባሰው ጭቅጭቅ፣ አቶ ደጀኔ ሽጉጥ እንዳወጣ እማኞች ተናግረዋል፡፡ ሽጉጡን ሾፌሩ አንገት ስር በመደገን ነው የተኮሰው ብለዋል-ምስክሮች፡፡ በጉዳዩ ላይ ያነጋገርናቸው የአዲስ አበባ ፖሊስ ኮሚሽን የሰው መግደል ዲቪዥን ክፍል ተወካይ፣ ተጠርጣሪውን በቁጥጥር ስር በማዋል ምርመራ እየተካሄደ መሆኑን ገልፀዋል።

በጎንደር ዳባት ሕጻን ሰለሞን ላይ ማን የጥይት እሩምታ አወረደበት?

ሰሜን ጎንደር ዳባት ወረዳ ነዋሪ የነበሩት የ55 ዓመቱ አቶ ማስረሻ ጥላሁን የተመሰከረላቸው አርሶ አደር ገበሬ በመሆናቸው የክልሉ ግብርና ጽ/ቤት ሞዴል አርሶ አደር በማለት ሸልሟቸዋል፡፡የሁለት ወንድና የአምስት ሴት ልጆች አባት የሆኑት አቶ ማስረሻ ወሰኔን ገፍተሃል የሚል ክስ ቀርቦባቸው በዳባት ፍርድ ቤት 300 ብር መቀጮ ተጥሎባቸው በመክፈል ወደ እርሻቸው ቢመለሱም የገበሬ ቀበሌ ማህበሩ ሊያስቀምጣቸው አልቻለም፡፡

ጥቅምት 15/2006ዓ.ም ከሁለተኛ ልጃቸው ሰለሞን ማስረሻ ጋር አትክልት ተክለው አመሻሹ ለይ ተዳክመው መኖሪያ ቤታቸው ገብተዋል፡፡ማለዳ 12፡00 ከመኝታው ባላቋረጠው የውሾች ጩህት ከእንቅልፉ ተነሳው ሰለሞን በሩን ከፍቶ ሲወጣ የጥይት እሩምታ ይወርድበታል፡፡አባት ልጄን ብለው የሌሊት ልብሳቸውን እንደለበሱ ወደ ውጪ ሲወጡ የጥይቶቹ አቅጣጫ ወደ እርሳቸው በመዞሩ ማን እንደተኮሰባቸውና ማን እንደመታቸው ለማየት እንኳን ሳይታደሉ ይህችን ጨካኝ አለም ተሰናበቱ፡፡

South Sudan Agrees to Ceasefire to End Violence – Ethiopia and Kenya support Kiir

December 27, 2013, Nairobi (All Africa) — South Sudan’s government on Friday has agreed to a ceasefire in a bid to end fighting that swept across Africa’s newest nation that has left at least 1,000 people dead and led more than 60,000 civilians to seek refuge at U.N. bases.

A spokesman for South Sudan’s foreign ministry, Mawien Makol Arik told VOA the government’s ceasefire will begin immediately. Arik says Vice President Riek Machar, the leader of the rebellion, has three days to respond to the ceasefire call.

The development came as regional leaders meeting in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi, Friday as part of the regional grouping IGAD urged both sides in the conflict to seize “the small window of opportunity” and begin peace talks.

At the same time the leaders said they would not accept the “unconstitutional overthrow” of South Sudan’s government.

The bigotry against the Oromo people continues unabated to date. It is an established historical fact that the Oromo people, the Somali and other peoples of the South were conquered and incorporated into the Abyssinian Empire at the end of 19^th century through an earth scorching policy and savagery of Menelik’s army supported by western powers such as the Great Britain and France. Twenty years ago we were close to defeating the remnants of the genocidal regime of Menelik and Haile Selassie had it not been for the voice of moderation by some politicians in the Oromo Liberation camp. Back then some of the Oromo elites wanted to give peace a chance, wanted to negotiate with the colonial settlers. They chose the path of peace and reconciliation. We recall the famous saying of Leenco Lata, “I am not an Ethiopian. However, I would like to negotiate to be an Ethiopian”. The answer to that offer from these remnants twenty years later is the formation of the revivalist groups who are planning to tour Oromiya to dance on the graves of the millions of Oromo martyrs and other peoples of the South who were brutally massacred while defending their homeland. The aftermath of the conquest was what we now know as one of the worst slave trade empire built by Menelik. I can hardly imagine the extent of the brutality when hundreds of thousands of Oromo children were taken way from under the arms of their loving parents and sold into slavery; tragically, several of whom died en route owing to harsh conditions. These were a people, reduced in to slavery and tenancy, were once the master of their own destiny and produced to the world a civilization superior to the Abyssinian civilization in East Africa.  This is also an established historical fact.

የቀድሞ የኦህዴድ/ኢህአዴግ አመራር አባልና ሚኒስትር የነበሩት አቶ ጁነዲን ሳዶ ባለቤት በውስጥ በተደረገ ድርድር ከእስር እንዲለቀቁ መደረጉን የቅርብ ምንጮች ለዝግጅት ክፍላችን ገለጹ።

« ከሳኡዲ ኤንባሲ ገንዘብ ተቀብለው ሲወጡ እጅ ከፍንጅ ተይዘዋል» በሚል በሽብርተኝነት ወንጀል እንዲከሰሱ የተደረጉትና ለአንድ አመት የታሰሩት የአቶ ጁነዲን ባለቤት ወ/ሮ ሃቢባ መሐመድ ከሕወሐት መሪዎች በተላለፈ ቀጭን ትእዛዝ እንዲፈቱ መደረጉን የጠቆሙት ምንጮቹ አክለውም ይህ ሊሆን የቻለው በስደት ከሚገኙት አቶ ጁነዲን ሳዶ ጋር በተደረገ ምስጢራዊ ድርድር ላይ “መንግስት ከዚህ ቀደም በወሰዳቸው እርምጃዎች፣ ፖለቲካዊ ምስጢራዊ ጉዳዮችና ገዢውን ፓርቲ የሚመለከቱ ማንኛውም ነገሮች በየትኛውም ቦታ ላለማጋለጥ፣ ላለመናገር፣..” ከጁነዲን ጋር ከስምምነት ከደረሱ በኋላ ባለቤታቸው እንዲፈቱ መደረጉን አስታውቀዋል።

በሙስና የተጨማለቁት አባዱላ ገመዳ እንዲሁም ደ/ፂዮንና ፀጋዬ በርሄ ከጁነዲን ጋር እንደተደራደሩ ምንጮቹ አያይዘው ገልፀዋል። መጀመሪያም ወ/ሮ ሃቢባ የሰሩት ወንጀል ኖሮ አይደለም የታሰሩት ያሉት ምንጮቹ አቶ ጁነዲን ከስልጣን ለማንሳት ሲባል ብቻ የተወሰደ እርምጃ መሆኑን ገልፀዋል። ጁነዲን ባለቤታቸው ከታሰሩ በኋላ በስልጣን ላይ እያሉ እንዲያውም ያለመከሰስ መብታቸው ሳይነሳ ሚሚ ስብሃቱ በምታዘጋጀው ራዲዮ ጣቢያ « ጁነዲን መታሰር አለባቸው፤ መንግስት እስከ አሁን እርምጃ የማይወስደው ለምንድነው?..ባለቤታቸው አሸባሪ ናት» በማለት የፍ/ቤትን ነፃነት ጭምር በሚጋፋ መልኩ ቅስቀሳ ይካሄድ እንደነበረ ምንጮቹ አስታውሰዋል። አቶ ጁነዲን ከአገር ከወጡ በኋላ እውነቱን እያወቁ መደራደራቸውና ባለቤታቸውን በማስፈታት ሌሎች ንጹሃን የሙስሊሙ ማህበረሰብ ተወካዮች ላይ በተዘዋዋሪ በመፍረድ የኢህአዴግና ካንጋሮው ፍ/ቤት ተባባሪ መሆናቸው አሳዛኝ ነው ብለዋል ምንጮቹ። አቶ ጁነዲን ምናልባትም « ባለቤቴ በፍ/ቤት ነፃ ተባለች» በሚል በኢትዮጲያ የፍትህና የፍ/ቤት ነፃነት እንዳለ አስመስለው ሊናገሩ እንደሚችሉ ማረጋገጫ የለም ያሉት ምንጮቹ አክለውም ጁነዲን ምንም አሉ ምን በስልጣን እያሉ ለፈፀሙት ወንጀል መጠየቃቸው እንደማይቀር መታወቅ አለበት ብለዋል።

በእንደዚህ ያለ ሁኔታ ውስጥ ያለው የስቶክሆልሙ መንበረ ጸባኦት ቅድስት ሥላሴ ቤ/ክ ከገለልተኛነት ወደ ኢትዮጵያው ሲኖዶስ ለማስገባት ውሳኔ እንዲሰጥ ከፍተኛ ጥረት እየተደረገ ባለበት በዚህ ወቅት ይህን ተከትሎም በቤተክርስቲያኒቱ ውስጥ ቦርዱ በመግለጫው ላይ እንዳለው ክርስቲያናዊ ያልሆኑ ሥነምግባራቶች መከሰትና ያለመግባባትም መፈጠር ጀምሯል።

የቤተክርስቲያኒቱ አስተዳደር ቦርድ እና ሰበካ ጉባኤው ይህን አለመግባባት ለማብረድ ቤተክርስቲያኑን ላልተወሰነ ጊዜ መዝጋቱን ያሳወቀ ሲሆን “ወደፊት ያለውን ሂደት ለማህበረ ምዕምናን እና ምዕመናቱ እናሳውቃለን” ብሏል።

The Indian Express:-Israeli Mossad agents operating in Ethiopia in 1962 unwittingly trained Nelson Mandela in hand-to-hand combat, weaponry and sabotage, according to a document released by Israel’s state archives.A letter from a Mossad official to the foreign ministry, dated October 11, 1962 titled “THE BLACK PIMPERNEL” and released to the public yesterday, recalls a conversation in which “we discussed a trainee in Ethiopia named David Mobasari, from Rhodesia”.”The aforementioned was trained by the Ethiopians in Judo, sabotage and weapons,” the letter read.”The Black Pimpernel” was the nickname given at the time to Mandela, the revered anti-apartheid hero and former ANC leader who died this month, while he was on the run from white South Africa during the liberation struggle.According to Haaretz newspaper, which first reported the story, the term “Ethiopians” was probably a code name for Israeli Mossad agents working in Ethiopia.”He greeted our men with (Hebrew salutation) ‘Shalom’, was familiar with the problems of (Jewish diaspora) and Israel and created the impression of an educated man,” the letter read.”The Ethiopians tried to make him a Zionist.”"It now emerges from photographs in newspapers on the arrest of the Black Pimpernel in South Africa that the trainee from Rhodesia was using a pseudonym, and the two are actually the same person,” the letter read.

According to the letter, Mandela took an interest in the methods of the Hagana and Jewish militias that existed before Israel’s creation in 1948.

The Nelson Mandela Foundation, however, said in a statement that “it has not located any evidence in Nelson Mandela’s private archive (which includes his 1962 diary and notebook) that he interacted with an Israeli operative during his tour of African countries in that year”.

Mandela “received military training from Algerian freedom fighters in Morocco and from the Ethiopian Riot Battalion at Kolfe outside Addis Ababa, before returning to South Africa in July 1962,” the foundation said.

Thousands dead in South Sudan violence, UN says

December 24, 2013 (BBC) — Thousands of people must have been killed in the past week of violence in South Sudan, the top UN humanitarian co-ordinator there has told the BBC.

Toby Lanzer, who is in Bentiu in northern Unity state, said it had been “a devastating week for South Sudan”.

Earlier President Salva Kiir said his forces had recaptured the key town of Bor days after it was seized by rebels.

The rebels are led by Riek Machar, of the ethnic Nuer, who has been battling President Kiir, of the Dinka.

The UN earlier said that it had reports of at least three mass graves.

One was in Bentiu in the north, and two in the capital, Juba.

‘Palpable fear’

Mr Lanzer told the BBC’s Newshour programme: “I think it’s undeniable at this stage that there must have been thousands of people who have lost their lives.

“When I’ve looked at the hospitals in key towns and I’ve looked at the hospitals in the capital itself, the range of injuries, this is no longer a situation where we can merely say it’s hundreds of people who’ve lost their lives.”

The UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Navi Pillay, said: “There is a palpable fear among civilians of both Dinka and Nuer backgrounds that they will be killed on the basis of their ethnicity.”

The UN says at least 80,000 people have been displaced by the South Sudan crisis – about half of them seeking shelter at a number of UN bases.
